Change is the new, constant reality of any workplace. And if it’s not, it ought to be, because the riskiest thing any business can do in the new, uncertain world order, is to not change. There isn’t an industry unaffected by change and if you want to survive, and thrive, change needs to be managed, and managed well. In this workshop, participants are led through the common responses to change, what change can mean, and the various affects it can have in our homes, at work, and in our relationships. Find out how to avoid the most common mistakes employers make before and during change, practical steps for managing the journey, and how to build the critical life skill resilience – the ability to bounce back from adversity, ability to grow from challenges. And how building a stress hardy personality and “hunting the good stuff” can, well, change the way you think about change.

During this session, you will learn:

  • the four types of work centered change
  • ways to handle discomfort with change and make yourself more valuable
  • as a manager, how to be a consistent role model during change
  • how to identify and approach staff/co-workers supporting, against and neutral about change
  • common “change management” mistakes
  • “thinking traps” to identify and avoid

*Seating is very limited to allow for discussion and group participation

*22 participants per session

What attendees are saying:

and can implement Jean’s ideas easily and quickly . . . Jean’s added value is her connection with her audience, her ability to empathize and simultaneously to motivate . . . She was dynamic and witty, and we appreciated her fast-paced delivery! . . . Jean is an absolute must have for any group, in any industry, dealing with any sort of problem or issue.”
